About The Library

Libraries are a legacy to each generation, offering the heritage of the past and the promise of the future. Libraries are cornerstones of the communities they serve, store houses of invaluable knowledge, in the form of books, magazines, journals and other information. Free access to this information in libraries is imperative for education, self-government, khidmat, employment and enjoyment.

A need was recognized for there to be a library to cater for the specific needs of Mumineen here in the UK. By the dua and raza mubarak of our beloved Aqa Moula, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (tus), Al Jamea tus Saifiyah Library was established in 1420H/1999AD to enhance educational growth within the Dawoodi Bohra Community members under the auspices of Al Jameah al Sayfiyah trust (UK). The name Al Jamea tus Saifiyah is derived from the  community’s Arabic academy Al Jamea Tus Saifiyah in Surat (Gujarat) a unique university which caters  learning for those wishing to have advanced contemporary Islamic education. It has its branches in Karachi (Pakistan) , Nairobi (Kenya) and Mumbai (India).

Al Jamea tus Saifiyah is the fountain & quarry of Ilme aale Mohammed (SAW) and of which as aqa moula TUS says:

Jamea is part of myself

Jamea is part of myself

Al Jamea tus Saifiyah library has been established in London’s Mohammedi Park Masjid Complex and is open to all Mumineen and Muminaat.

Al Jamea tus Saifiyah library is launching its website with the niyyat of enlightening Mumineen of its facilities and activities.

This library benefits from the guidance & endeavours of Amirul Jamea Shazada Aaliwaqar Syedi Qaid Johar Bhaisaheb Ezzuddin Saheb (D.M.).

We beseech Allah to grant our beloved Aqa Maula, the 53rd Dai al Mutlaq Al Dai al Ajal AaliQadr Mufaddal Saifuddin (tus) a long and healthy life.  Ameen.
